United Ways of Alabama is pleased to announce the recipients of Building Community Resilience grants.  Building Community Resilience is a program to help survivors rebound from the life-altering events that occurred during and after the storms. The program, sponsored by United Ways of Alabama and the American Red Cross Hurricane Recovery Program, is designed to enhance well-being and resilience through various community activities, which include education on post-disaster stress, social networking, community mobilization and outreach, and integration into new communities.
